Gareth Harvey is a journalist, producer/director and author with 30 years experience in international television markets, covering everything from celebrity profiles to war-zones. His credit-list reads like a “who’s who” of prestige newsmagazine programs and documentary broadcasters, from the American & Australian “60 Minutes,” ABC News “20/20,” the Seven Network Australia, SBS Network & Film Australia – through to blue-chip documentaries for National Geographic, the Discovery Channel & long-form reports for HD Net America’s World Report.

In 2010, Gareth won a coveted News & Documentary Emmy award in New York for Outstanding Feature Story in a News Magazine for “South Africa’s Shame: Modern-Day Slavery and the World Cup” – produced for HD Net World Report.


Josephine McKenna: Correspondent/Producer/Print Journalist

Jo McKenna has 30 years’ experience in TV, print and interactive media, in Australia, the US and Europe. She has worked in New York as a foreign correspondent, produced documentaries for the Discovery Network and segments for National Geographic Channel’s Earthpulse series, aired in 60 countries. Jo’s also done plenty of news and current affairs, covering the 2004 US presidential election in for the prestigious Australian TV program, Four Corners.

As part of Zagara’s Rome team, Jo presents and produces news segments for France 24, as well as for Australia's Seven Network. She also writes for publications including The London Times, Australian Gourmet Traveller and the respected international news site, Global Post.


Lorella Muzi: Italian producer/fixer/web specialist

Specialty: Setting up breaking news, news-magazine & documentaries.

Lorella Muzi has produced major news events in Italy and throughout Europe & North Africa since 1996.
Fluent in English and Italian – like the rest of the team – Lorella also speaks French and some Japanese.
She has covered everything from elections in Bosnia, terrorist attacks in Luxor, an earthquake in Umbria … and the death of Pope John-Paul II.
She has also been involved in producing documentaries and cultural reports for a variety of international broadcasters (including CBS, ESPN, CBS Inside Edition, Channel One and HD Net).
Lorella is Zagara’s expert in arranging film-permits for some of Italy’s most difficult to film locations – including the Coliseum and the Sistine Chapel – as well as being a specialist in video production for the web.

Mark Brewer is a DOP and cameraman with thirty years’ experience in a diverse range of professional situations – recording studios, film sets and most war zones of the last two decades.
Mark has shot for the prestigious Australian newsmagazine programs 60 Minutes & Sunday Night, as well as National Geographic, HD Net America and a host of other broadcasters & production companies. He is adept in all HD formats & cameras, and when required as a one-man band.
